RECYCLING IN OUR CLASSROOMS

In the bins of our classes we put plastics, papers, aluminium foil....., but all together.

We want to separate the litter in: plastic, paper... To recycle.

Our idea is to put three paper bins in each class, one for the plastics, another for the paper, and the last, for the rest.

WHICH IS THE SIMILARITY BETWEEN TRANSPORTS AND THE SCHOOL?

Imagine a world without cars. Suddenly, it might seem that  a few great upsides associated with cars (the fast transport, the easier transport for people, etc) would vanish. But it would cease to consume the oil and it would reduce the pollution in all of the world (including the school).

We think it's better if we only come to school by foot because if we remove all the cars that go to school, it will reduce a lot of pollution, and we will have a better school.

If it is not possible to come to school by foot because it is a long trip, we think it is better to use electric cars.

IS THE TOILET OF THE SCHOOL CLEAN?

Hey everbody! Now another question very interesant: do you think that the toilette of the school is clean?

I think it's dirty, because the children don't pull the chain, and they don't take down the cover.

If we do that every time that we go to the toilette, every time will be generate more microbes. Probably you think that this is not very important, but the microbes cause a lot of disases and probably you will be ill.

Be clean!

IS IT IMPORTANT TO PUT ALL ALUMINIUM FOIL IN THE BIN?

Some of the children don't put the aluminium foil in the bin, because they think that is not important. But if all the people throw aluminium foil to the ground, it would be very dirty.
Another thing that we can do is: one day all the childrens and teachers, can clean up the playground. If you aren't in the school, you can put the aluminium foil in the yellow trash bin.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ALUMINUM FOIL?

Aluminium foil is a highly pollutive material and it causes emissions of CO2, produces deforestation and produces water pollution.
Aluminium manufacturing causes a strong environmental impact. The aluminium industry is considerat a highly polluting industry. Aluminium is a metal that is extracted from a mineral called bauxite that causes deterioration of rivers. It has a high energy cost and emission of vapors of tar, sulfur dioxide (causing acid rain) and fluoramine, an acid gas that is harmful to health by causing changes in the bones, kidneys and hair. The manufacturing process of aluminium requires a lot of energy consumption.

If we don't use aluuminium foil, the air will be cleaner!!!!!!

EVENTS

WE WILL DO SOME EVENTS LIKE:

-IF WE COULD, WE WOULD  DO A RACE OVER ALL THE SCHOOL, AND TAKE ALL THE ALUMINIUM FOIL BALLS THAT WOULD BE ON THE FLOOR.

-IF WE COULD, WE WOULD DO A FOOTBALL MATCH, WHERE EVERYONE COULD PARTICIPATE BUT ONLY PAYING A EURO, ALL THE MONEY WE COLLECT WOULD BE USED TO PUT MORE DUSTBINS AND TO BUY NEW ONES WITH THE DIFFERENT COLORS, JUST TO RECICLE ALL THE LITTER WE PRODUCE.

-IF WE COULD, WE WOULD  DO A COMPETITION OF USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT OR WALKING: THE ONES WHO USE MORE PUBLIC, BIKE OR WALK, WIN A CUP OR A PRESENT.

-ANOTHER THING THAT WE’VE DONE THAT IS NOT CONSIDERERTED AN EVENT IS THIS BLOG. IT’S A PLACE WHERE EVERYBODY CAN LEARN A BIT OF WHY TO RECICLE,  HOW TO DO IT, EVENTS WE HAVE DONE OR WE ARE GOING TO DO, WHO WE ARE, ETC. 

OUR GOALS

TO BEGIN WE WANT TO IMPROVE A FEW THINGS:

-THE FIRST THING IS THAT WE WANT PEOPLE NOT TO USE ALUMINIUM FOIL AND USE TUPPERWARE.

-THE SECOND THING IS THAT WE WANT PEOPLE TO COME TO SCHOOL BY FOOT. IF THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE WE WANT PEOPLE USING ELECTRIC TRANSPORTS.

-THE THIRD THING IS ABOUT PAPER BINS: WE WANT ALL PEOPLE TO USE PAPER BINS AND NOT TO DROP THINGS THAT THEY DON'T WANT ON THE FLOOR.

-THE FOURTH THING IS THAT WE WANT A RECICLING BIN IN EACH CLASSROOMS TO RECICLE ALWAYS IN ALL THE CLASSROOMS.

-THE FIFTH THING IS ABOUT BATHROOMS: WE WANT ALL PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT YOU TREAT THE BATH LIKE THEY SEE: IF THEY SEE A CLEAN BATHROOM, THEY DON'T TREAT IT BAD.

WHO WE ARE?

WE ARE FOUR STUDENTS FROM THE SCHOOL KOSTKA, AND WE ARE MAKING A CAMPAING TO  CLEAN UP OUR SCHOOL.

IN THIS WEB WE WILL  WRITE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CAMPAING AND THE EVENTS WE WILL DO. WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT AND WORK FOR A  CLEANER SCHOOL!!!!
